johnny101. I am one of the photographers behind STEEL VEilS, which consists, right now, of michellex and myself. :)
SV offers a range of photographic services, centered around studio/model photography as well as live work, band/artist promotion and a few other arrangements. Hit up the website for detailed information.
I've shot with film for the last several years, but I succumbed to the digital temptation in the fall of '06. As such, I am kind of an "in-camera snob", meaning I don't do a lot of digital manipulation. On the computer I try to do as little editing as possible. Cropping, resizing, a few minor level adjustments... that's about it. I try not to rely on the computer's ability to get great shots. I will admit to finding myself using CS2 to do things like, extend a backdrop, or remove an unwanted shadow. However, most often, it's used to fix a blemish, remove a stray hair... more "standard" airbrushing; like what you received when you were in highschool for class pictures.
I just happened across a Hasselblad 500C with a 80 F2.8C chrome lense in early February. You should start seeing some MF pictures in the coming months.
